This was a good book The only thing I did not care for was the love triangle This also has the footnotes for the languages like the first book did I really like that The characters and it has a good story It s good how it felt like the characters grew and do not seem static 2550This is the second book in a series and does not stand alone Reading book one may assist readers with following character development and the history of events that leads to This Would Have Been Our Song Read full review in the 2014 April issue of InD tale Magazine This is the second book in this series and the whole gang is back Lucia has chosen her man and it s now 2 years later but the man that she didn t choose is not going to give up which leaves the man she did choose fighting to keep her I felt about this novel exactly how I felt about the first one The story line is good however the book is ust too wordy with too many characters and too much happening I also feel like the author is stretching to make this a 3 book series Cute story though with likeable characters I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review This is book two of the series It has been two years since Lucia Mpobo Riddell made her choice between Marc uadruple threat Lucia SingerDancerMusicianBaker Extraordinaire adds a new skill to her resume in this release Mother Wait who s the dad No back up who s the mom Because those Mpobo Riddell girls never like to do anything the easy way neither uestion is as easily answered as you might think But none of that matters all you need to know is that Marcus Grant and Greg McMullen have a new rival for Lucia s affections and the one who handles. Marcus Greg and Lucia are back in the second part of their ourney to their perfect love song will they finally find itBook Two This would have been their perfect love song It has been two years since Lucia Mpobo Riddell has made her choice between the two men in her life She and her beloved would have been perfectly happy if it wasn’t for the constant

Ou still learn about the family and in this book you get a lot pov s There is so much going on with this family and friends and you want to keep reading to find out and what will happen next I look forward to reading the next book in this series I was given this book by author for honest review Lucia and Greg and Marcus return after 2 years Lucia is engaged to Greg and Marcus is determined to get her back But they both have to move over for Cassie The sisters are all thrown for a loop due to parenting concerns The songs themselves are amazing Again with the intermixing of languages with meanings in footnotes Thank you for that It is often a treat to read the second book in a series and this one certainly met those expectations I felt like I knew the characters fairly well and I still appreciated the cast list she put in the front of the book Again I wish that authors would do this There was still profanity in the book and there were some intimate scenes but I felt that they were less detailed very glad about that I found that the author has an excellent understanding of the entertainment industry and it seems uite true to life I fell in love with Cassie and she added so much to the story If you enjoy contemporary romance that was exceptionally well written and music this may be the book for youI was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review I was not financially Continuing on with the characters from the first book we rejoin the story after two years have passed While Lucia made a choi 5 Singing Rocking Dancing Stars Check out my other reviews at Luce you re not that girl you re the girl my girl My world doesn t make much When the other had been relentlessly trying to get her back It soon became apparent to them that she wasn’t the Lucia they met and fell in love with any Her life and priorities had completely shifted To even consider keeping her or ust getting her back they would have to accept it or they would have to let her go But would they ever be able to do eithe.
It best winsBut what s that saying about every season having it s turn This book ushers in a new life ust as it ushers out an old one and that loss is going to be devastating to Lucia In a roundabout way it s also going to bring us back to the uestion that s been lingering over Lucia and her sisters since the first book what happened to their parents specifically their mother Her older sisters drop hints in the book and it s heartbreaking I found myself tearing up particularly when we saw Axelle s side of the story Maybe she has been the super nurturer of the family but before that she was a kid who needed and didn t get love and affection And is Noor really a femme fatale screw up or is she simply doing what she was shownWhich leads us back to Lucia How long can she keep up the facade that she s altogether and that everything in her life is orderly and perfect And the real uestion who does she love and want Ahmaybe she needs to answer that one first because she can answer the otherWhile Lucia is figuring that out we get to see a lot of Beesly oh honey if you re going to be manipulative don t be so controlling okay Marcus brother Patrick and someone gets to see A LOT of him and the talented but troubled Alex Sanders and boy is he a big deal And while Bloody Mary Gillis doesn t pop in too often when she does it s a nail biter and a very good laughIn other words I loved Lucia and her gang and I loved them ust a little bit for the imperfections Can t wait to see what s in store for the next release I received this book from the author for an honest review The characters are well defined and written The storyline is great and keeps you wanting Istractions from her past her sister Noor’s complicated life her own doubts and fears Maybe there wasn’t such a thing as perfection and this was a lesson that Lucia was going to learn the hard way Greg McMullen and Marcus Grant’s lives had been affected by Lucia’s choice that day in Glasgow two years ago Since then one had been fighting to keep her.
