Story Overall this is a well written book and I expect Mr Bronny s writing will continue to evolve and to delight readersArcane is a coming of age sword and sorcery fantasy The main characters one boy two girls are 14 year old magic users in training but the writing Sketchy Behavior plot and story are mature enough to appeal to anyone I m 47 and an avid fantasy reader There is minimal cursing but the story is notollyanna ish which surprised me I know that others have summarized the Autumn Brides plot well enough that I don t need to rehash it For me it was kind of a Harry PotterEragonThe Wheel of Time There s rarely a dull moment it has lots of action and dialogue that keep moving the story forwardI m now about halfway through Book 2 Riven and am still loving the characters their friendships their travails their lack oferfection their humor and their The Princess and the Three Knights poignancy I read reviews for books 2 3 and 4 and they remain high so I fully expect I ll finish the series Mr Bronnylans for this series to be 5 books longI highly recommend this book I think it s appropriate for readers as young as maybe 10 12 years old my kids are older now so I m trying to remember what level of writing they appreciated at what age And it s definitely appropriate for adults as well There s no silly assed off The Beauty of Believing putting teen angst just well developed characters who happen to be 14 learning to adult fast in a scary and deadly world Similar in some ways to Mull s amazing Fablehaven the Arcane is a spellbinding story of a guttersnipe whoroves to be so much than the eye can see A fourteen year old orphan who continually confounds his so called betters he also seems to luck out everytime with a caring step Sticky Church parent who can keep him on his toes teaching him the appropriate life lessonsThen he meets Mrs Stone Bridget and Leera and his life changes foreverThis is an intriguing coming of age epic fantasy that captures your heart and attention almost from the firstage and keeps your nose fixed between the Forbidden Love Unchained pages It is almost with a shock that you come to the end of the book Fortunately there are books in this series on hand Enjoy Like most books of science fiction fantasy this follows most of the traditional format but it doesn t feel like It s a great story and well worth the read It s guaranteed you ll want to read book 2 You will not regret reading this starts out a little slow but once it gets going it s hard tout down I literally spent a whole D Harry Potter Arcane has the same thrill and Witches of the Deep South page turning funreviewer An epic journey of survival and self discoveryA Hatfield reviewer Great story well written subtle and complex character development interesting magical system Superbly done coming of agereviewer It's The Hobbit mixed with Harry Potter but set in Eragon kinda It's got great fantasy and adventure elements and is a great read for middleschoolers high schoolers heck even adultsreviewer Everything is in there for a wonderful book character developmentacing action heartache discovery growth and many manyreviewer I enjoyed reading this so much that I Metro 2033 (Universo Metro) purchased the rest of the series Immediately and then sat up all night finishing them for the next few daysreviewer Every time I start to think I have read everything good I stumble across a gem like thisreviewer The story started with a familiar feel to it reminding me a bit of the Harry Potter books but it uicklyroved itself to be an addictive read uite capable of standing on its own It is a great escape from the day to day which is what I loo.

Ight without sleep reading this it s that good Ended up getting the entire series before I even finished this book I kept thinking to myself that no other story could compare to how good this line of books is Cannot wait until the author writes the next oneSever Bronny is a very talented author He mixes fantasy and suspense with expertise the characters are complex and life like It s amazing how he can make you love or hate a character so well The detail of the world and environment stimulates the imagination From forest to castle dungeon it makes you feel like you are right there on the adventure with Augum and his friends Well done This is one of the strongest first volumes to a fantasy series I ve read I ordered the other four before finishing The characters are extremely well realized You learn not just what they look like what they re capable of and what their Christianity personalities are like you also learn what makes them tick and why they are the way that they are You can empathize with the main characters in this book and you will root for them like few books can make you doThe book is a realage turner Run for Your Life (Michael Bennett, pacing is excellent and there is a great combination of mystery suspense action humor andlenty of genuine human connection and emotion It s truly well written in every sense of the wordThe Alice-Miranda at Camp plot is outstanding and I can t wait to read the next one in the series should arrive tomorrow There is a very welllanned chain of events that will keep you interested throughout the duration of the story I can honestly say that there were no real lulls for me I The Red Queen: Sex and the Evolution of Human Nature (Penguin Press Science) (English Edition) plowed through the book in a few days during a busy work week just couldn tut it down There were some clever twists in the The Association of Small Bombs plot and you had great moments of realization while reading I only saw one of the big twists coming before it happened I can usuallyredict Wilderness Survival Handbook plot twists way in advance but it was still fun to readIfressed to come up with criticism I might say that the book was The White Mans Burden perhaps a bit too short That s a strange thing to say nowadays where every fantasy author believes they must be like George R R Martin and write thousandage tomes but there were a couple of sections of this book that Visit the Sick perhaps could have used a bit spacing out An extra 50 100ages might have let things breathe a bit better but that s really nitpickingOverall this is an amazing book by a very Carry Me Over the Threshold promising author and I look forward to reading the rest of his wor.
